Clearing The Fog – A weekend seminar on the History of the Sects
July 2, 2022 @ 9:30 am - July 3, 2022 @ 5:30 pm
| R150
In this age of doubt, confusion and many differing opinions the straight path has become blurred. As a result of this we find it difficult to navigate our way on our journey to Allah. This differing was a prophecy foretold by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Those who came before you of the people of the Book split into seventy-two sects, and this ummah will split into seventy-three: seventy-two in Hell and one in Paradise, and that is the jamaa’ah (main body of Muslims).[Abu Dawood]
Amongst these differing paths which path leads us to Allah? This path can only be one…
Allah said:
“And this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow the other paths, for you will be separated from His Path. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.” (Al-An’ām: 153)
